Dr. Sergey V. Moshak, (a plastic surgeon), Vladivostok, Russia

Sergey V. Moshak was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1969. He is a graduate of the State Medical University of Vladivostok, officially considered the best and the oldest School of Medical Higher Education and Training in the Russian Far East. Dr.Moshak received his medical degree from this University (+internship) in 1996 and completed his residency in general surgery and surgical otorhinolaryngology and plastic surgery at the same Medical University, Vladivostok (1996-1998). He completed the full Course of plastic surgery in Tver and Yaroslavl in 1998.

Following his residencies, he was on staff at the Medical Cosmetology Clinic of Vladivostok from 1998 to 2003 as a plastic surgeon, where he received his general and plastic surgery training.

Since 2003 he has been a plastic surgeon at the Regional Diagnostical Center of Primorye, Vladivostok (Department of Endoscopic and Plastic Surgery).

Dr. Moshak has taken multiple educational plastic surgery courses and specialist trainings in Russia and abroad; he took part many times both in Russian and International scientific and educational conferences, symposia and congresses of aesthetic plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Having been in plastic surgery practice since 1998, dr.Moshak currently performs all the types of aesthetic operations for face and body (facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, etc.). However, he prefers and specializes in facial plastic surgery and particularly image facial surgery. His clinical specialization and major, the best professional skills, abundant experience and personal professional interests lie in the sphere of rhinoplasty particularly (dr.Moshak gives preference exceptionally to the closed approaches of nasal correction). At the same time the greatest attention is always focused both on aesthetic problems of the nose and its functional properties and characteristics, such as nasal breathing, anatomical airway, clinical problems of rhinological character etc.

Dr. Sergey Moshak operates on the patients after facial trauma (traffic accidents, etc.) and also performs secondary, or revision, rhinoplasty, to help the patients who experience problems as a result of a previous rhinoplasty, whether these problems are functional, aesthetic, or both.

One of the distinguishing features of Dr. Moshak's approach is in considering the individual - a patient's facial features, body structure, age, lifestyle, profession, social and marital/family status, taste and definition of beauty, because he believes each person is unique and needs an individual plan of treating and working with, according to his or her personal desires, psychological and aesthetic needs. That is the reason dr.Moshak does not work with and does not operate just on a particular feature - he works only with the individual and personality in tote: his or her whole appearance, body image, character, background, life experience.

His commitment to achieving the most beautiful results has earned him a reputation as a "perfectionist". His goal is to help a person reach his or her own goal of beauty and managing the aging process. He combines the patients' desires to have a more beautiful and/or youthful appearance with his extensive experience to develop an individual strategic plan to achieve their aims. By using the most advanced techniques and technology available, he can enhance and rejuvenate patients' appearance to help them look as beautiful and young as they feel.

Dr. Moshak has practiced in Vladivostok for most of his medical career; however, his patients come to him to be operated on both from Vladivostok and other cities of Russia and from other countries.

Although dr.Moshak operates on his patients 5-6 days a week, as time permits, he enjoys drawing, painting, and literature.

He has performed more than 6000 individual and combined aesthetic operations for 14 years of his intensive plastic surgery practice:

Rhinoplasty - more than 1350 procedures;
Mammaplasty - more than 550 procedures;
Liposuction - more than 1700 procedures;
Facelift - more than 850 procedures;
Abdominoplasty - more than 300 procedures;
Blepharoplasty - more than 1100 procedures;
Mentoplasty - more than 320 procedures;
Other operations (cheiloplasty, lipofilling, reconstruction, otoplasty, facial implants, labia minora, etc.) - more than 450 procedures.
